In 2018, the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra returned for a second worldwide tour after celebrating the series’ 15th anniversary. This isn’t the first time that Square Enix has organized a live orchestra world tour for one of its games, either. Those lucky enough to be able to attend the live performance next year are sure to be in for a treat. Now, much of Final Fantasy 7’s iconic music is being remade for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and performed live by AWR Music Productions.

The FF7R Orchestra has added new tour dates and locations to its official tour schedule. Thankfully, AWR Music Productions, which puts on the orchestral performances of these beloved songs, has delivered some great news for Final Fantasy fans. Still, it’s reassuring to know that progress is being made, slowly but surely. Now that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a contender for game of the year at the upcoming Game Awards show, it is reentering the conversation as the year comes to an end.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake was undoubtedly one of the hallmark games of 2020, despite releasing all the way back in April.
